Title: Development Assistant
Job Summary: Working with Development staff, this role will assist with several ongoing projects, including assessing and designing a program for management of fundraising leads, prospect research, a contact report process, Students for OneSky tasks, fundraising appeals, and other tasks as identified. As an advocate for vulnerable young children, you will be passionate about OneSky’s vision and mission - as well as an excellent writer and communicator.
Responsibilities: Working with the Associate Director, this role will participate in the implementation of OneSky’s new prospect researching program, including lead assessment, reporting, prospecting, contact reporting, and utilizing tools such as Salesforce and iWave.
In collaboration with the Associate Director, you will oversee and serve as the liaison for Students for OneSky and volunteer programs, globally, including engagement of Students for OneSky graduates and young donor base.
You will support OneSky’s Development and Communications teams with projects such as major and episodic campaigns, card mailings, giving circles, social media prospecting and ambassadors, events, and data analysis.
Actively participate in weekly team meetings (US time zone) to stay up-to-date on OneSky fundraising initiatives and understand OneSky’s programs, mission, and vision.
Qualifications: Skilled in Google Suite, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and have a basic knowledge of design platforms such as Canva.
Experience with virtual events and facilitating online meetings.
Previous experience with social media (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn) is preferred.
Pay:  $35,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year commensurate with experience
